What personal data we collect and why we collect it
The personal data that we may collect from
you includes your name, address, email address, phone numbers, payment
information, information regarding your level of independence in relation to
social care needs, and levels of capital to ascertain whether you are eligible to
pay full cost for your social care.
We also retain records of your queries and correspondence, in the event you contact us.
We merely process such data on your behalf, subject to our terms and conditions and you are responsible for any applicable legal requirements in respect of your content.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
We receive information about you from when you contact or email us or complete enquiry forms on our website to apply for a Care Navigation or Care Funding Report Service and/or would like to access one of the social care providers or services featured on our website.

How long we retain your data
We will keep your personal data for the duration of the referral to the GCN or details for providers whilst they are subscribing to our website.
We shall retain your data only for as long as necessary in accordance with applicable laws.
We may keep your data for up to 7 years, after the completion of your referral, or until the service put in place ends.
We may not be able to delete your data before this time due to our legal and/or accountancy obligations. We may also keep it for research or statistical purposes stated herein.
If you leave a comment on this website, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile.
